Grove Picnic

 

We meet in the village of Kerasia, on the eastern slopes of Chalepa hill, at the foot of Mount Psiloritis.. From there, we walk to our family olive grove.

 

We gather around a wooden table beneath the walnut tree.

Together, we complete the cretan picnic.

 

The morning unfolds.

 

Some guests may wander around and ride slowly into the village.

Others may remain in the grove and around the table.

 

The land leads. We follow.
